Ginza is the birthplace where Seiko was started as a business. In 2024, the Grand Seiko Ginza Special Model SBGH317 continues the heritage and is introduced as a Limited Edition only available at specific Grand Seiko Boutiques.
The SBGH317 adopts a light purple "Grid" design and is inspired by the quiet moment that can only be found at dawn in Ginza when the cityscape appears quietly.
On the dial, the grid-like grid of Ginza is drawn diagonally as if it is on a map, the grid is laid out so that the 12 o'clock position overlaps with the northern direction. When you view the dial from different angles of light, each grid will reflect irregularly and shine, creating shadows on the dial.
The see-through case back has the words "GINZA LIMITED EDITION" written on it, proofing that it is a Ginza limited edition model.
