To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Monster Hunter, Capcom organized special events, collaborations, and releases throughout the year. One of the standout collaborations is with Seiko, a renowned watchmaker known for its exceptional timepieces. Seiko has proudly announced the launch of four collaboration limited edition watches inspired by iconic monsters from the Monster Hunter franchise.
Velkhana, the flagship monster of the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion, is a formidable Elder Dragon known for its control over ice. With its sleek and elegant design, Velkhana presents a challenging adversary for hunters. Defeating Velkhana rewards hunters with valuable materials to craft powerful ice-based weapons and armor.
The Seiko x Velkhana watch features a silver metal band that gives it an icy shine. The dial is colored with a gradation from ice blue to dark blue, capturing the threatening figure of Velkhana with its wings spread. The embossed patterns on the dial and the silver indexes with a spear-like motif add an elegant shine to the watch. The subdial at 6 o'clock has a pattern reminiscent of freezing cold air, further enhancing the cool and sophisticated impression.
This special edition chronograph watch is presented in a very special design packaging box with the artwork of the respective monster imprinted. The watch is made in Japan which is a guarantee of quality. This is a limited 2,000 pieces special model as engraved at the case back and is only available for ordering in Japan!!
