Based on the 62GS modern design philosophy, the light and subtle sky blue dial color is representing the clear warm sky, the Grand Seiko brand name, dial wordings, the seconds-hand and the tiny index markers along the chapter ring were using the white that represent the "white" scenery that you can be seen of the port.
