Seiko Prospex Automatic 200M Diver “Black Series” Samurai Limited Edition (SRPH11K1)
There are only 8,000 pieces of Seiko Prospex Samurai Black Series distributed across the globe. It is first in line in this series and is considered to be the more aggressive and more angular brother of their Turtle vintage-inspired edition.
This elegant and stylish deep-sea themed watch features a black dial with a date aperture. The baton shaped hands and the hour markers are treated with Lumibrite which makes a lot of sense for deep sea diving in the dark.
The dial is protected by a Hardlex crystal and is surrounded by a unidirectional rotating black and gray colored bezel. The hour hand is arrow-shaped and the minute hand stands out in orange color.
The Samurai has a stainless steel case frame and is treated with a black hard coating. Like their other iconic watch designs, this model is powered by a 4R35 caliber automatic movement which also supports manual winding. It has a power reserve of up to 41 hours.
Seiko Prospex Automatic 200m Diver “Black Series” Monster Limited Edition (SRPH13K1)
The Seiko Prospex Monster Black Series model is limited to only 7,000 pieces across the globe. The nickname “Monster” was given by Seiko fans as its bezel design resembles that of a monster baring its teeth.
Seiko’s Monster iconic watch has a sharp, bold, and aggressive design that has undergone quite a complex history and multiple generations. It was first introduced in 2001.
The all-new Monster Black Series SRPH13K1 features oversized markers that are treated with Lumibrite that makes sense for nighttime deep sea diving. The black dial has a weekday and date aperture display at 3 o’clock.
It is surrounded by a black unidirectional rotating bezel that has a minute track print as well. The dial is protected by a Hardlex crystal and is framed in a stainless steel case.
It is powered by 4R36 automatic and manual winding calibre movement with a power reserve of up to 41 hours. The silicone strap makes it more comfortable to wear even under water.
Seiko Prospex Solar 200m Diver “Black Series” Tuna Limited Edition (SNE577P1)
It has the distinctive look of Seiko’s iconic Tuna watch design but now in an all-new black color scheme. There are only 5,000 pieces of the Tuna Black Series watch worldwide.
Just like Monster and Samurai, Tuna has a black silicone strap for a more comfortable fit even under water. It matches the black hard coated stainless steel case.
The deep-sea black dial has dot hour indices with a striking orange minute hand surrounded by a black unidirectional rotating bezel. It is also protected by a Hardlex crystal.
The date aperture is displayed in the 4 o’clock position. Powered by a V157 solar movement calibre, the Tuna watch is accurate to +/-15 seconds per month. Its power reserve can last up to 10 months when fully charged.
