Casio, renowned for its shock-resistant G-Shock watches, is set to launch the GBM-2100RH on September 6 as the fourth signature model in collaboration with Rui Hachimura.
Having previously released the GST-B100RH-1AJR, GM-110RH-1AJR, and DW-6900RH-2JR, all of which have been well-received as part of the Rui Hachimura G-SHOCK collection, the GBM-2100 is the latest addition. This model, which made its debut in June, is based on the popular 2100 series known for its durability and performance, featuring a distinctive metal bezel.
A standout feature of the new model is the dial design, artfully representing a basketball court. The gold dial showcases wood grain patterns and a white line resembling the area beneath a basketball hoop. The LCD display mirrors a shot track, while the button at 8 o'clock is elegantly engraved with the number "8". Furthermore, the "Black Samurai logo" and Hachimura's signature adorn the watch, adding a personalized touch.
Measuring 49.3 mm (H) x 44.4 mm (W) x 11.9 mm (D) and weighing approximately 78 g, this timepiece is water-resistant up to 20 atmospheres. Key functionalities include Tough Solar, Mobile Link, world time, stopwatch, timer, alarm, fully-automatic calendar, and double LED light.
